Ohhh I see where you put them now. That's kinda neat. I'd put mine in the reverse lights place just so they'd still be white haha.

yea, i thought about it (putting them in the reverse) but there would be no way to hide the wiring if i put them there

a lil wire never hurt anyone haha. My strobe light wires aren't very hidden but I tried to tuck them under that big plastic piece that covers the rad and such.

thanks the install is a med if you know what your doing. its a mess of wires in the engine bay and trunk. you got to take off the bumper, take out headlights, drill a inch hole in the bottom of them, place bulb, silicone around the bulb, put in heads, put on front bumper, i had to cut a slit in the rubber boot thing to run the wires thru the fire wall(includes two strobe wires and a power wire).after that just run wires under the carpet, run to trunk or where ever you have your power pack at, take out rear lights drill holes, cut slit in rubber thing to run wires thru the trunk. place your ground on the bolts on the back seat. just plug in everything after that. took about 5 to 6 hours. chose one of the 11 presets the whelen has or just tell it to do random. i think thats the basic, its harder than it sounds but yea, i wish i would have takin pics of the install

I think it took like 2 hours tops to put mine in. Which didn't involve drills or taking anything off the car haha.

There's already a hole in the firewall in the passenger side footwell. All we did was take the carpet up, took out the cheap styrofoam, ran the wires through that hole and up into the glove box and thats where my controls are now so I can change the speed whenever.

I imagine it takes a lot more to run them to the back of the car though.

yea lol. i didnt know about the foot whole do you think its on both sides. if so that could make hiding alot easier, i would look on the lancer but my brother drove it to work today, so im driving the eclipes

I think its only on the passenger's side. It worked well because I could hide the control box in the glove compartment.

Hid the wires pretty well ;)

is that little black wire i see part of the kit.

these are the wires we had to run, i still might look in to runing at least one wire thru that little foot thing if not both. also how did you get the light in there with no drill, or did you jsut put it in the light

Go for it. Our original plan was to drill a hole there in the first place, then the drill bit broke in my car  And then my friend noticed there was already a hole there...
