Well Evolve...you have now put any spending of money by me on hold. All money will be going to that car now  Plus I will already have my tarmac wheels for it!
what's funny is that this was posted this morning and i was debating on wether or not to show the thread today or tomorrow. my 3g's friends are pretty stoked at the possibility of a trade-in for this puppy.
plus, what are the odds that most people (us 4b11 people) will be attempting engine swaps. it's almost seeming like it'll be a mistake for me to spend more money on this 11 if the 12t can fit in my car.... thoughts?
word is its the 2.0!! and those wheels dont do it for me!! i would prefer black or a darker gold! but i do love the bumper and the hood! and those god damn projectors!! grr i should have waited!!
i could live without AWD. i really could. i do however, want a turbo lancer. once the car is paid for and my insurance drops, i'll be definetely getting a snail for the car. i have a feeling time will answer all my questions.
Well, all I had heard about the Ralliart was about how it was gonna be FWD and how it didnt stand a chance. :? This is all good news though
Well wouldn't it be a safe bet guys that are stuck with there N/A Lancer that since it will be using the 4B11 to just wait for the R/A Lancers to upgrade there turbo's and buy them for cheap off of them and use it in your Lancer or wait for the aftermarket support to come rolling in and use those parts? Seems to me with the widely use of the 4B11 that you guys are going to have some amazing options...
i should've read up but this is the first i've heard this RA is sporting our engine (but boosted). If this is true im already looking forward to millions of parts to be out for this thing. i don't mind having a fwd missile.
lol... AWD is always a good thing but there maybe a cheaper option for those that just want to turbo...
 Not so my friend... and I draw this conclusion up from my Galant knowledge. When we first started out for years our only option was a POS Weapon R intake and custom catbacks. Nothing was being made but when the 3G Eclipse which share the same motor as the 8G Galant started to get noticed parts where being made. Yeah for us.... Now fast forward a couple more years. We all thought our POS dyno'd 4G64 (I4) motor putting out a measly 100hp would get us no where and fast. We lost hope but after a few chosen members started to do more research and testing out parts we find that our block is superb for boost and what more could you ask for then the EVO 4G63t DOHC can be mated to the 4G64 block and you have one hell of a motor capable of well over 500hp and EVO owners are drolling to get there hands on our blocks and a few chosen Galant owners went the mile and did the swap. So what I am saying is you guys have a great platform to work with and don't think you guys will always be slow. Sure Mitsubishi sucks at marketing and never gives us what we want right off the lot but if Mitsubishi does what they always do by reusing parts in other platforms to save on cost. From what I have researched your 4B11's are the detuned EVO X motor and now that also includes the R/A. Someone just needs to put there foot forward and do some swaps... prove that these parts can work... lol I am rambling but I just want to get the point across that you guys are not hopeless just because you only have 140hp now... don't think you guys will be stuck with a CVT tranny that is not capable of boost. There is always going to be a work around it just takes people who love the Lancer as some of you guys do to put your foot forward and make the progress. I'll make a prophecy lol... in a couple of years you guys will be OG's and will look back and see what kind of progress you guys have made and will be amazed...
