Don't laugh. The TSX is a really nice car and handles and performs magnificently for the FWD sedan that it is. The interior is gorgeous, and the SatNav is supposed to be excellent. I love my Lancer ES with Sun & Sound and Nav, but if I could have dropped an additional $8-10,000 on a TSX without feeling the pain, I'd have done it.
^and have your read the on-going automatic transmission problem they have since jumpstreet? A friend of mine had the auto tsx, 35k miles his tranny started slipping. Brought it in, fixed, no problems til 45k...brought it in, fixed...60k same problem, gave him a new tranny and now he is having the same problem
Off topic : I seriously think that companies like honda, toyota, and nissan can do away with their "luxury" sister companies of north america, and just release their cars (i.e. DC5, Altezza, skyline) under their own name.
the TSX is really nice, the interior is def nicer, but the nav is def not better then the lancer's. my sister has a TSX and the nav is always off ... sayin' the destination is somewhere its not. i'v never had that problem with mine ... yet that is. and if you want the TSX with all the options you get with the fully loaded gts you're goin be spending about 35k with taxes. and if you're goin spend that much might as well just get an evo. but if you're goin buy an evo, might as well just spend the extra and get a bmw ... you can always 'just spend a little more' and get a nicer and better car. just depends what's more important to you. int/ext looks or performace ... or both but you're goin be spendin' some $$$$
Re: I just barely got one... MSRP is roughly 27600...I haggled with the dealership to make it 27900 including TTL...then as I was walking out, he offered me 27500 which is what I had in mind for that car...
dangit lol. I was about to say that I found where I need to try to export a vehicle too if I ever want to sell it for more than I would get down here lol.
Well it depends on the car. BMWs are crazy high priced for even used ones... But you could get like a Honda for $5000... haha
holy S#it!!?!?!?!? thats insane... then i looked up the current conversion rate, i don't know what it would have been when you bought it but right now that 30k CAD would be 24,656.91, still too much. but your happy with your car so thats all that matters
Well down here Ive come across like 00 model Hondas for that much with over 150k+ miles. I dont know if its becuase Im not much fond of Hondas but I find that a bit overpriced. Lol but let me run across the right Mitsubishi or even Nissan for that price and even mileage and I would try to get it in a heart beat lol. But then again Im talking about $5000 USD.
