daytime Pics! Please pay no mind to the dirty leafy engine bay, lol ***so far*** no problems with the heat. it's been sitting in the sun all day, then once i got home to drive it, i let it run for about 20-min while i was taking the pics, then drove to Lowe's to get some stuff (about 10 miles round trip) honestly though it is something i am also worried about, but we'll hope for the best
Wow a nice center piece lol. But if you sprayed it with Krylon it should hold up. Not sure if they have a high temp clear coat but if they do, might wanna do a coat of that too just in case. It would suck to open up that engine bay one day and have the picture peeling back :/
They in fact DO have hi-Temp clear coat, thanks for the suggestion, i picked some up from Advance Autoparts. It's a bit more expensive at almost $6 a can, but worth it, i figure, lol.
have you had any problems with you engine cover design. I saw yours and i want to do something like that myself. It looks awesome dude.
yes, there was some slight deformation around a couple of the edges in the clear coat (i finally had a real long drive in it to see how it would hold up). using the new hi temp clear should fix that. i'm going to be sanding down a few layers of the original clear before i spray the new stuff on.
