Does the intake have a CARB sticker?

holyshit that is crap...How can you get in trouble for a different intake, pulley, exhaust or somethen? thats stupid around here that would never happen!

 

any outcome to this yet?

 

so what are they going to tell ppl that have stock turbo on cars??? like evo's?

 

Anyways back to the issue, I now have a ticket that I have to have Everything put back to stock, including such things as simple as a pully, and then get it signed off by some state exectutive officer, not an ordinary officer. He said they will do a top-to-bottom check of my engine and anything found not seemingly stock I basically will have the car impounded.

If it came stock from the factory with it and they try and say other wise show a ad for the car

 

that sucks, good luck with that. I have done that with my eclipse, its more of an inconvience than anything.

they wont know its turbo'd bcuz there is a shield covering it (well on the X anyway).

 

It doesnt matter on the Ralliart or X it came stock from the factory they cant make you change they way the manufactuer makes the cars unless Cali makes do a N/A setup called the California Special!

 

Reading this post sends a very cold shiver down my spine...

How the hell can it be illegal to make buy parts, if they are being MADE down here? Thats like, making weed legal to grow, yet illegal to smoke. Sometimes i wonder what our tax money is good for...
