Hey Jake have you or anyone done the CIA yet, I was just wondering i would love to see the pics and any advice would be great if you have done it. I will also agree there is more than enough space. I think ill goto the Machine shop on Tuesday to see if the guys can fabricate something for me if so ill let you know and I'll have pics. I still am having a hard time putting pics up but I'll figure it out lol.

I am getting a little impatient with AEM, so I started getting ideas for the CAI. It is something similar to jakes idea but I am having difficulty closing the hood. So I went a different route and now I am trying to mount the pipe.

Well Gentlemen, and any ladies out there...This is the first time I am disclosing my top secret mods on any forum, but I have successfully installed a custom...Ram Air Intake on my car. Its pretty simple, in the developmental stages I suppose...but the way I have it set up right now, I can definately tell it pulls through the higher gears a little bit faster then before. I'm guessing cause thats when the car is going fast enough to push all that air in. I have had my car to the track a few times, but not yet with the ram air, so I'm hoping to get there soon, and check it out.

the idea of a cai dosent sound like a bad idea at all it seems plasible i mean if you can find a place that does very fine custom piping i belive you can do it. cause i know this guy he has a bmw he cusomed his cai with pcv piping it sounds raw and less heat restriction too

PVC...the poor mans piping  .

Personally, I don't think I would want to install something that low because here in Houston when it rains, half the town becomes submerged. I would so easily and quickly suck up some water and throw a rod or pistol destroying the engine that it wouldn't be funny...
