will that go on a 09 gts, the 4b12 2.4L model.....they never specify that, just a 08+ 2.0, but 08+ can mean 09...shit
really?.. thats interesting.. the reason i had to relocate my oil cooler is because the filter wouldnt fit inbetween the front bumper and the front wheel well.. or atleast i dont think it would fit... i got an instructions manual with pics and thats what it said for me to do.. i wonder if i had to move mine now??? so confused!
Did you guys remove the front bumper to get it installed? We installed ours by removing the splash-guard underneath the car and it fit in there fine. I guess as long as it's working properly it doesn't really matter though.
well they recommended for me to remove the whole front bumper but i read even on this forum that you can just remove the splash guards and do it that way... but ya as long as it works theres no reason for us to complain... but which way will make it last longer?? lol
Well it'll be easier to remove the bumper only if you have the GTS because you have to relocate the oil cooler. The only negative about removing the front bumpers is theres a shitload of screws and its a bitch to put back on.
i did it on my car and it took me 2h, i only remove the front wheel and the splash guard. It was more easy that way since i was alone, reinstalling the front bumper would be pain in ... Anyway was the first time i did that kind of job on a car, s0 2h it's not that bad.
ya i agree.. its too late now thats its already on... but i didnt mind the screws so much as those stupid tacks.. those push in things... i know i broke atleast two of them trying to put them back in lol oops
Ive probably taken off my bumper more than a lot of you guys lol It aint that hard. But from what ive heard, you dont havwe to move anything. I dotn have one so i wouldnt know
Well, I have a 08 CVT and I needed to relocate my oil cooler. ES and DE does not have to relocate nothing.
Not hard at all. First, i thought we were suppose to unplug it, so I unplugged one of the tube... Then I just found out you just have to move it to the back. All that for nothing. They come with brackets to hold the oil cooler.
