It's not for commercial vehicles, it's a law against using them in commercial vechicles, I am legally allowed to have a radar detector.

And Dangerdan, I know you are new here, but I hope you have the same opposition on law breaking when it comes to air intakes and exhaust mods, since I do believe that they are illegal in states like California and others. The initial question had nothing to do with your smartass answer, if you don't speed that's fine, but it wasn't the question that was first asked. I think you should consider changing your name, you are worried about everyone else speeding, you don't sound to dangerous. How about Dudley Do-right Dan? If you don't like that I'm sure I could come up with some other names well suited for you...

Another item I would also recommend are the photo blocking licenses plate. It's like 20 bucks and red-light cameras can't take pictures of the plates.

are you a cop by any chance?? you seem too uptight about all this legal/illegal BS...i dont see whats funny about your toon there, so i cant really say the same...dont know if any other members understand it...

from my experience with radar detectors/laser jammers, i have a cheap cobra but its served me well...i dont know much about the tech on cop cars here in PR, but i do know i like to always know if theres someone checking out my speed...i dont go along with cops too well and i usually tend to argue with them whenever they stop me...hell, their gonna give me the ticket, i might as well have a kick out of it...here they will stop you for the most stupid shit, and since im not very fond of them ill break the "law" if i f****** feel like it....i do tend to speed a lot, but im also very aware of my surroundings...i used to be stupid behind the wheel as a juvenile but i guess my conscience has kicked in a bit and now drive more carefully...i dont see why they would sell these radars at local auto shops and call them illegal, its stupid the way the "system" works...

i used a cobra but i get pulled over alot just for random stuff like exhaust and what not turns out when you have a radar its preety much a instant ticket, i have talked to all my real close cop buddies and they say the best radar is your eyes lol i dont use mine anymore i just keep my eyes peeled and i have found more cops than the radar has i was using the cobra unit i still have it just never use it

 

that sucks man. ive been puled over once when the cop came to my window and the thing just randomly went off and she didn't say a thing about it. just got a ticket for being on my cell
