i really dont wanna compare the 4b11 with the 420a... that will really make me want to wreck my car and claim the insurance

lol why are you even considering the 4B11 to the 420a. The 420a doesn't even share with any other mitsu.

Right now they thing holding us back on making some decent power is our pistons CR. The only real differences our engine has from the Evo X 4b11 is our CR, head(ok so we wont be able to make 600hp), stronger crank(I guess Mitsu learned from the 4g63 and put a stronger bottom end since most Evo tuners swapped with the 4g64, wont need that unless making some HUGE numbers)and a reinforced block(again wont need that since we will most likely max out the head before needing to reinforce the block). If we at minimum swap out the pistons we should make some good reliable power from this engine.

We do have forged rods so wont need to swap them for a while, like the 4g64 took extremely well to boost well over 20psi but stopped making power about 16psi because the head limited it and like our engine the 4g64 was very similar to the 4g63 with some differences.

But time will tell as soon as more people start "playing" with our engine.

Some great info here everyone just wants to take the easy way out well some of us but we wouldnt call our self tuners if we didnt get down and dirty with this engine. I myself am not a genious when it comes to all this but understand the simple facts that it can be done with a matter of time and a good paying job lol

I know all you guys said might give us some hope four our slowmo, but I actually made up my mind lol. I'm totally decided to get me an EVO X in about 3 months... My 08 Lancer is now my wife's :D And i keep driving my Kia Rio (that way I remember to not even try to take it against a 350Z....)

Btw that's why I've barely been around now... :( we gotta accept it, for the price of the car, we are just asking for too much....

    back on topic...

Is AMS out of thier freakin minds with that getto exhaust?? lol... they go thru all that custom work to put a muffler on that angled?? looks horrible. looks cheap. looks like a kid got hold of his dads welder and wanted to rice up his car.

Maybe its just me... I'm kinda "Monk-ish" when it comes to a straight out exhaust, lol.

Isnt that what tuning is all about, making your car your own.

Saying ewww and calling it ghetto and ricer just makes you look retarded. If you dont like and angled exhaust, dont make it an angled exhaust.

I think the huge wings on the GTS's and EVO's look stupid, but to each their own. As long as i dont open my garage and see one bolted to my trunk we're good.

You want more parts for the lancer, than except every option, every idea. Otherwise companies decide not to waste their time.
