I didnt realize that this car was getting negative criticism...

Ok a few points id liek to say. I agree with alot of people on alot of posts. Yes its not an evo, we know that. Your right, it would piss evo owners off... Who cares? it is his car, and with as much money as he has put into his car, it might as well be one. Owning an Evo isnt a title or a rank i nteh car world... All he needs to do is sell this thing, save some moneyt from his THREE JOBS, and buy an evo, and tune that fucker to oblivion. Now of course not everyone has the same taste in mods. I want to buy the recaros as well, but dont have the money for seats. But guess what... if he does it... thats HIS thang. They look sweet, and he doesnt have to deal with a stupid light, and ofcourse he is safer than those people that boguht AM seats. Overall, this car from stock has come a LONG ASS WAY and let me tell you, it is one of, if not the, nicest lancer i have seen. And if hes gettign a kit, then this car will be award worthy on many levels.

Now on a differnet note, XX, be ware of negative criticism. Bro you could put a turbo in your car and the majority of people will say "Holy s*** WTF ZOMG" and stuff. But your gonan always find that small amount of people telling you "Thats wrong" or "I wouldnt have done that". Expect it, cuz it will always happen. I put a kit on and im getting comments about the fact that my side skirts dont match (even tho one of my posts waay earlier states why they arent on). You cant make everyone happy. All im gonan say is YOU GO BOIEEE! You do with your nasty amount of money what you wish. Make yourself bloody happy. Just be sure to get yourself a good lookin female to pimp that sucker out!

Id like to add that your car should go for featured ride... cuz this car is just amazing

 

holy crap i never seen ur ride before and it looks good. like someone else said. you can't please everyone so just do what you want. everyone has their preference. i think once you get ur car turbo'd ur car will be happy.

I hate you because i got the 08 2.0 and you got the 09 (LOL) other then that good stuff man....I think your car looks sick dude. and like other people have said,people are going to hate. even if you are doing everything perfect. So dont worry about it.

Although i did agree with that one guy about the evo badge thing. I mean its really a small thing but I see what he is saying. but what ever. So post some pics of your head unit installed. Im curious to see how that looks. Im kinda stuck between wanting my car to be unique but wanting to keep it low profile. so the 5.0 is not on my ass for no good reason...

one a side note anyone from Los Angeles CA.... I think i have only seen 2 other lancer GTS's out here one white one in SD and another one i cant remember where but i think it was red. Anyway hit me up local lancers if you want to chill. on Wensdays and thursdays alot of racers and shit get together in the valley @ in and out and chill...I dont race because my car is stock right now but it would be cool to see more lancers out there then those damm honda civics and intagras(or how ever you spell that)

Im new here Merrill and its the 1st time i see your car... Its wonderful that u have 3 jobs to accomplish everythin u've done to your car... Love the mods, here and there dont like some parts on it, but everyone has its style... Keep up the hard work, but just take it as an advise... Maybe u r doing so then obvios the comment, but create a lil savings acc. and put in some money in it... Car is very risky... u never know what can happen.... Just an advise ive heard thousands of time from my volks since im 17... Congrats on your car, keep us posted!!!

 

when you get all the new stuff installed take pics and soundclips. i would like to no what the CAI, header, & greddy combo sound like.

lol i actually got that combo.. but ive had trouble getting soundclips (or good quality ones) from my camera to my comp... but as soon as i do ill post them on youtube and then have the link here...

but it does sound awesome... even when i only had the greddy it sounded awesome but when i got the headers and cai put in... it sounds real clean and mean... as soon as i hit 3500 - 4000 rpm... NIRVANA! lol

Not to knock your iphone or the apps on it...but a 15 sec 1/4 mile @ 105 mph seems WAY OFF...that trap speed seems way too high for that 1/4 mile time. For best results i'd say run it at the track.
