Yeah Ektors totally right about the fact, when you go higher in the Kelvin rating, less visible lumens you get. 4300K gives you around 3200 lumens, 5000K gives you about 3000 lumens, 6000K is around 2700 lumens, 8000K is about 2500 lumens and so on... Coming from halogen's though, even 10000K is considerably brighter. But at the end of the day, its your personal taste which matters. And ofcourse don't want to get in trouble with the cops. Personally, I don't like the blue glow at all in my lights so I went with 5000K which is more like a pure white.
Ya no matter what temp you go with, it's goin to be like night and day (literally) compared to halogens so it's all good
