Apparently the bulbs I have in there (80 watts) are too much for the wiring (talkin about headlights) and some dudes on another Lancer forum warned me about how people have had their wires melted from it and could even cause a fire!

And ya... if I get HIDs I can still have white lights without the fear of burning up... lol

 

lol wow i haven't heard that but i would talk to the steeler to make sure...

 

Well I think the stock bulbs are like 50 watts or something... I dunno... I'm just paranoid now...

 

well i'm not sure about the headlights, but the fogs are definitely 55W...using something higher than that can melt your wires...not sure about the fire part though...

 

Well... I just know I don't want any problems but I don't have money to get anything different

 

i wish i could do some kind of lighting lie hids, i can only wire neons
