That's why I got. I just needed a new laptop because mine was dead. Figured I'd get one I like since I have the money for it now.

I've also been getting a lot of harassment since I don't own an evo...I'm sick of them cause if I had the money then obviously, I'd have gone with the evo. lol

2007 Cayman Base

 

Who says the OEM enclosure can't hold a 10 inch sub? It came with an 8", but with a little trimming and a slimline 10" sub....anything is possible.

Main reason I even attempted this is because the enclosure that came with the sub (Supposedly "sound matched" by SONY) sounded kinda flat in the lows and didn't produce that much sound. With a little thinking and the initiative to cut up an OEm part, I went to work. This is the end result.....




Sounds AMAZING, and looks pretty damn sweet too. Only downside is that I can't run my rear tower brace with it installed. I even had to turn down the gain on the amp and the subwoofer level on the head unit...and still have more sound than the other box.

 

LOL... no I didnt pay shit for it. Its a long story but i'll just say its now a family vehicle and I am keeping the Subi as my car and this I can use to tool around if I want.

 

I dunno what you're bragging about, I saw nothing in that video that showed the RAZR being so much better than the iPhone. Some apps loaded a second or even as little as couple miliseconds faster on the RAZR. For some some reason YouTube was slow on the iPhone 4S, but I've noticed the YouTube app that Apple provides is really inconsistant, even on my home WiFi. He didn't touch on it in this video, part 1 or whatever, but the only thing the RAZR really beats the iPhone in is the fact that it has 4G LTE capability. Apple should have added that, but I can understand why they didn't -- they want to announce it with their iPhone 5, along with whatever other upgrades they plan on making. Maybe you can say the bigger screen is better, but that's a matter of opinion really. And the RAZR is thinner, but it's almost TOO thin for me. Again, opinion. For the record, I like the Android OS a lot -- I used to have an HTC EVO 4G. I'm not an Apple fanboy, but their products, however expensive, are of great quality. They feel more solid (even if they're more fragile) and not flimsy like the plastic that Motorola uses. (That "kevlar" backing on the RAZR does nothing, sorry.) I like the appearance of the phone and the simple looks of iOS 5. Anyway, the iPhone is not the most powerful phone on the market, but it's definitely one of the best. You can hate all you want.

 

I have to agree with this entirely. The iPhone is a stable device meant for everyday use, not someone's toy to brag about. Android has been exploited in ways that can be used for unnecessary measures. I myself am most likely going to buy an iPhone as my next phone. Because it will serve its purpose to my wants and needs. Hopefully it will support 4G LTE. Which is a HUGE want for me. Living here in Indianapolis with 4G had spoiled me too much to say the least.

 

Are you guys fucking kidding me? Does your phone make calls? Good. Does your phone text? Good. Who gives a shit if your phone supposedly loads .0375 seconds faster than another. The only thing you should care about a phone doing is this:

1) Making calls
2) Sending/receiving texts
3) Able to use TapaTalk so you can check the forum on the fly
4) Take nude pics/videos of the girlfriend, random hookups, and random drunk bitches

Other than that, WHO GIVES A SHIT. GTFO with that shit. And in case you guys want to know, I have the iPhone...not because of what it could do or because it was the "hipster" thing.....I needed a new phone and Verizon let me have one for 99 bucks. So GTFO.

I'm not pissed...I just don't see why some people (no one on the forums here) always has to say their stuff is the best of the best and does everything better. I deal with that kind of shit at work with a dumbass co-worker. I'm not bashing anyone here, and I have no problem with all of us giving each other shit and messing around....its when things get too serious and someone tries to make a competition out of something that could be more meaningless. That hasn't happened here in quite sometime, and the last time it did, I had to jump in the middle, kick ass, and look like the asshole.

Like I said, I have no problems with trolling and BS'ing each other....but just be on the lookout for when the person you're screwing with seems to take it the wrong way. I hate being the guy that looks like the hard-ass that never has any fun. Again, poke fun and whatnot...but just keep it civil and don't let it get out of hand .

 

And on another note....Just bought an OEM jack and toolkit for 25 bucks....I "misplaced" mine about six years ago. I'll be dammed if I carry my floor jack in the trunk on the way to ECMM. Bump that oversized bastard....
