thats like saying you were playing a game on an xbox and you got the red ring of death. then the warranty wouldnt cover it because you were playing a game at the time.
i'll just requote myself... and add thx for the info, exactly what i thought... and ya i've heard about the whole it's broken in at the factory thing and the whole it's actually better not to baby ur car (anymore) when u first get it... just didn't wanna open up a whole new argument lol
Okay, so we are all right in a way. While the dealer DOES reccomend that you break it in for 1000 mile, the owners maual does state that for the first 300 miles you should not drive at high speed or shift aggressivly, and that you should not exceed 5000rpm for 500 miles.
I really like the enkei's.... But we will see. Glad all the break in stuff was settled, I wanna push it harder, butonly 190 miles on it.
good thing i dont have an xbox, and dont care for one.i have other things to worry about. plus, itd be stupid to treat your new car like shit off the lot.
i went to the dealer got the model i wanted, will i wanted a ralliart but can't afford it and didn't want to wait til 09. the only think i would've liked was sun and sound. the dealer didn't have any on the lot and i didn't want to wait so i go the next best think.
One, why are you bringing up something we have already settled. Two, the information didnt come from the man that started the thread who works at the dealer. It came after he read the owners manual which anybody that can read can do. Three, the information in the owners manual, pretty much mimicked what i had written. I've worked at a dealership two, a good amount of the people i graduated with (degree in automotive mechanics). Work at dealerships, and the information is all the same. The break in of the old days is gone. Where did you get your information lancered, second hand? If you're scared lancered, thats fine. baby your car. In the end, who cares. The information is written right there in his owners manual. He's happy and thats the whole point so lets move on and be a big happy lancer family.
True grizbone but just from my point of view,it just might be different from others, that i myself woudnt want to ream it for the first hundred miles.Once I got my lancer, sure I babied it.Cause this was the 1st actual NEW car I had purchased.but then after about a week or two,I did run it hard.Damn ricers.but anyways :3some:
my advice would be is to try to make sure u have the whole car is under light (like the sun) cause shadows will make it look bad. and as far as a camera goes anything that can get u a proper exposure will work really. and if ur in the market for a camera, i would go with a cannon for a point and shoot, but if u want to go with a digital SLR i prefer nikon.
