How to: Spray paint, customize buttons, placing of HIDs, ect

yea, i would think that using a bunch of 3 x 5 cards wouldnt be the best way to mask off the area.

 

you live and you learn. I remember when I got my civic i was all about doing stuff that was kinda out there. I'm not diggin the engine paint or the grill but I'm a bit older and have grown more conservative over the years.

I do however love the lights. For some reason I'm attracted to pretty lights...LOL! Maybe I'm just a big kid. I'm prolly gonna do cold cathodes under the dash and seats. Have some other projects first though.

Overall its your own style. Nice you were creative though.

i was thinkin about changin the color of my engine cover too, right now it's duplicolor's color changing paint blue to red, but i was thinkin about doing it in a sparkling green color and gettin a greeen air filter for my SRI.

I'm glad ur changin the blue on the outside to black, i was also not feelin it

 

too much blue for me... =_= but i really like the backview cam =P id do that on mine !!

 

i like what you did with your mitzu and lancer emblems i also realy like the light by the aux plugs...and i want a back up cam cuz the lancer is considerably bigger than my old 93 vw and im always afraid of runin into things so i park ridiculisl far awy from things lol...like 4 to five feet ....

I have to admit. Everyone has their own style and taste. People do, to their cars, what they enjoy doing. So I must commend you on taking the time and custimising your car to your liking.

However, I still have to admit that a small part of me died while reading this post.

Man... Everything was going good when you started the rims but then u went on a blue-paint-spree-mode !!! ... well, as long as you like it, let em all hate lol. Btw the Lancer - Mitsh badges in the front... a no go....!!!

The blue paint and all those lights aren't exactly my style. But, to each his own...

I really like the mitsu badges swapped to the front though. I think that's a really cool original idea. I might consider swapping mine to the bottom grill mesh up front.

 

just make sure it says mitsubishi lancer not the other way around

 

i give ya props for what ya did, it aint my style, but its something you did by yourself and you enjoy it. As long as you didnt invite any performance parts and put them in your car claiming to be better than everyone else's, i respect what ya do.
on that note, had you've done red.... that shit would look pretty sick. Blue aint my thang.
