    no,remember that the balast is the one thing changing voltage ,so it's still 12v.
    in other word my hasn't melt yet :twisted:

    Im just curious which company did you purchase yours from? I was thinking of getting them myself but the issue with the DRL 'S is making me hold out. Mitsu may just put a whole new light assembly to remove the issue. Like the HIDS in the Asian Mitsubishi. lets hope so.

    about the light assy.i doubt that,until somebody find how to disable drl hey and how much are the hid from automoglow? :D

    Autoglow wants 199 but they are having a group sale. You may still be able to get in check it out.

    i took my car to a local performance shop here in Dallas... it took the guy 10 1/2 hrs to install the hids but they work really well.... and i dont have drl's anymore... he some how wired them through the parking lights... the only down side is i cant turn on just the parking lights but we have those weine little bulbs for parkin lights... i wish our blinkers were our parking lights.... but i walked away from that payin 375 installed... 8000k ... and i love them.. :headbang:

    wow thats way too much.... i would rather wait for HID's instead of paying a grip no offense im just a poor kid :D
