Gunmetal colored GTS wheels

How come you chose grey on white? My friend did the same grey rims, greyed-out front bumper and the grey inserts on the wing. Then he changed everything to black and it looks better IMO. I'll post before and after pics if I can find em.

And now here's his car with the black rims and vinyl. He's waiting to get the red lip placed on them again, then they'll be complete. And yes his rims are now on my car, because ya'll know they look better on the GG anyways. 8)

How long did you wait for the rims to dry after applying the paint?

 

can u use the jet paint remover instead of scuffing or sanding it?

I just got mine done in the same color a couple of days ago..
They look awesome, Much better than the stock color and it will match almost all the colors on the Lancer!

 

i'm just wondering if you had a paint shop do the work or if you did it your self and what color is that.

nope, I got the rims powdercoated, it wouldnt have looked as good with spray paint tbh, the color is matt grey! the whole thing cost me about 200$ USD

 

i think i will look in to tring get this done to my car. invincible two thumps up. :thumbup: :thumbup: looks really good.

 

powdercoating is awesome but did you just paint the center plastic piece with the mitsu symbol on it?

 

Did you have the tires removed or did you just mask them really well? I've been thinking of doing the same thing to my black gts but with the flat black paint and the red lip. how long did it take you?
