there are aftermarket remote starter systems that have the autolock and auto unlock functions built into them... seeing as the cars dont have remote starts if you buy a good enough system you can have it do it for you... no hacking of factory systems... except for that beautiful igniton harness!
the remote starter systems can do it for you.. it just senses that you have started the car and then locks the doors for you after waiting 10 seconds or so... but dont leave it in gear when you remote start it.... :mrgreen:
ummmm ya... lol my friend learned that the hard way! he was at bestbuy and when he started it jumped and hit the truck ( with a huge tow hitch) over $2,500 in damages the truck was fine! lol!
watched a car try to remote start its way into a truck and then just sit there and spin the tires in the snow.. there are better kits with safety systems to keep it from doing that.. mine has one so i cant remote start it in gear
