    Cut out an opening in the hood.

    how exactly did he mount he MAF on the mazda intake>

    It just looks like the guy cut drilled tapped and then wielded the pieces onto the polished aluminum pipe. The brackets again where just aluminum bent to the proper angle to give support. If you have patience and dont have popeye forearms the job looks rather simple. Yes simple is best less things to break.

    No your not. I agree that it's risky but he took a chance.

    its not risky unless you are careless with your MAF sensor

    sorry guys, i havent posted here for a while, havent done anythaing reallt, broke my forearm and dislocated my shoulder on the left sideso i cannot even work on the car :( but i have the remainig pipe for a cai which will go down toward the firewall, i have a brake duct and foglights going in the bumper area and dont really want to play with the battery!

    i was told a few days ago that for the CVT guys that the path is blocked from something hahaha suuuuuuxxxssssssss
