car got keyed

dude! im so sorry about what happened to your car.. I get pissed when rocks kick up from the road and make little nicks on the paint.. I can only imagine what your going through.. tgake it to you dealer and get a suggestion as to what you should do... forget touch up paint.. you might have to get it buffed out.. but your better off getting the whole thing repainted...get a quote and see whats up..

Really sucks man. I had to repaint a whole side of my 01 Jetta when someone keyed the hell out of it in a Kroger parking lot one night when I was working (I worked for Kroger at the time). Hope you get her looking pretty again. I feel bad and do not envy that you may have to claim it against insurance as that can make your premiums sky rocket if you are younger...

Some people do the dumbest crap! I feel that all the way to the bone. If the parkade has video surveillance you can sue and make the @&^%$** pay for screwing you over.

 

The problem with that is that the video quality if it is a old system is poor due to them reusing the old cassette. when i worked for a trucking company they had 5 cases of videos which had to be cycled through. Even then the quality sucked. But with the digital world the quality will be so much better it is worth investigating. At least it will prove to the bloody insurance company that you didnt do it to get a better paint job lol. Again good luck.
