    Quick update

Got the metra dash kit last week and needed a bit of sanding due to my steering wheel on right hand side. Using an Alpine 9855r until the new Alpine double din 502 unit is released later in the year.

Looking good but there wasn't another spot to run the power wire thru? Not really thinking that it is all to safe where you have it...

Dont think there is anything wrong with where it is goes through a grommet behind the gaurd liner then enter's the cabin through another grommet dont know about you but i dont like drilling holes in brand new cars. Also stickaflex has been put over the top where the brackets are to prevent rust ect then a coat of body spray...

Install is coming along probably at the 50% stage. Went to local stereo competion on Saturday night came away with 3rd place, the last pic was just to cover the wiring seen its not finished yet.

In a few months, when i find the time, i'm gna raise the trunk level kinda like how you did it. I still think that's a really good idea. I have a 5 channel amp so my flush mount won't be so wide.

how did you fit the boards by your rear wheel weld so neatly? just used a router and kept doing it till it fit?

    WOW.....thats all I can say.

You got some real talent. As for me....not so much.
I couldn't even imagine trying to make something like that b/c I will mess i up and it will eventually end waiting on the curb for trash pickup.

When you start damping and building the doors take plenty of pictures. I'd like to see what can be done.

Here are a couple basic spare tire well installs I did I was thing of doing in mine this week.

Just clean and simple but pleasing to the eye. I know I will be sacrificing my spare but I have AAA and Mitsu road side.
Im really liking how you kept you spare. I just dont wanna do the subs on the side to look OE.
Thanks for the encouraging and motivating pics to help me decide.
    Keep it up.
