Ok I got some wheels a couple days ago that when I measured, seem to come out to: 18x7.5 with 38mm offset. Our stocks are at 18x7 with a 46mm offset. If I remembered correctly, the offset is from the centerline of the wheel to the bolt. 38mm is a shorter distance, so I assume the wheel will just pop out more compared to our stock right? 7 and 7.5, I shouldn't have fitment issues right? Or fuck, am I totally wrong and it's the exact opposite? Somewhat confused on that matter. I suppose I could probably just throw our stock tires on no problems?
Heres the sticky on wheels http://www.lancertuners.com/modules.php ... pic&t=1685 I think your right tho. I think the less amount of offset would push the rims more toward the outside. You should be fine tho since your going from 7.5 to 7 in wheel thickness. Not an expert on wheels tho.
Yeah I understand everything. It's just that info like that doesn't help much because they are just practically straight definitions. I know what they are, just need particular clarifications. Lower offset from stock just means it sticks out more. Higher means it sticks in more. :?: Also, is anyone here able to explain the tire ratio in terms easier to understand? From what I read, I am understanding that it's the amount of tread that grips the asphault?
