I painted mine. Just make sure your prep work is done well. If you can do that, the paint job will turn out good. It took me almost an hour to sand, pre and mask the front for paint. Only 15 minutes to paint. Turned out awesome! Be ready to do touch up's though. I have had my bumper painted for 1 week now and already had to do a touch up from a rock chipping the paint. Its worth the effort though.

i just put the vinyl over it... when i would put in the license plate holders (those lil rubber things) they would stick out too far and the vinyl wouldnt lay on the bumper properly

i know that from this angle the license plate holes are noticeable but from most other angles you cant een tell... im happy with the way it turned out just pissed that mitsubishi gave me a car with two huge holes in my front bumper

Used vinyl. It's been months, and no problems with it so far.

Man the white with the black is just so damn sexy! God i love that color! the silver looks great to! But deffinitely go with vinyl at first to make sure that you like it! You may think you like it cuz of other ppl on line but it may be different for you once you actually get it on. but paint will always be better than some vinyl! 8)

I took the grill off, which is very simple, just some screws and clips (which I broke all of them, it doesn't matter). Then, I just wetsanded them, wait for them to dry, and hit it with about 4 coats of flat black paint. Very simple and I had it back on my car within a few hours.

    Hope that helps.
