Hi guys just wanna ask if which is better to do to my font bumper... if vinyl or paint... which of the two you recommend... thanks!
I painted mine. Just make sure your prep work is done well. If you can do that, the paint job will turn out good. It took me almost an hour to sand, pre and mask the front for paint. Only 15 minutes to paint. Turned out awesome! Be ready to do touch up's though. I have had my bumper painted for 1 week now and already had to do a touch up from a rock chipping the paint. Its worth the effort though.
i put the vinyl on my car and i love the way it looks.. it was easy to put on and u can always take it off... here are a few pics of my ride.. [/img]
i used vinyl first, looks good but had to change it like every 2 weeks because of stone chips, got it painted and looks much better,
for mikeike8 what did u use ta cover the original license plate holes? did u just vinyl over it or did u use plugs then vinyl over them.
i just put the vinyl over it... when i would put in the license plate holders (those lil rubber things) they would stick out too far and the vinyl wouldnt lay on the bumper properly i know that from this angle the license plate holes are noticeable but from most other angles you cant een tell... im happy with the way it turned out just pissed that mitsubishi gave me a car with two huge holes in my front bumper
for geaux i wanted to black outt the plastic chrome part around the mitsu symbol on ym front bumper i was just wondering how u did it on ur car??
Man the white with the black is just so damn sexy! God i love that color! the silver looks great to! But deffinitely go with vinyl at first to make sure that you like it! You may think you like it cuz of other ppl on line but it may be different for you once you actually get it on. but paint will always be better than some vinyl! 8)
I took the grill off, which is very simple, just some screws and clips (which I broke all of them, it doesn't matter). Then, I just wetsanded them, wait for them to dry, and hit it with about 4 coats of flat black paint. Very simple and I had it back on my car within a few hours. Hope that helps.
o ya thats awesome.. thats great help... well thats gonna be my next project that im gonna work on!... i appreciate it!
