this was in the news about last week... apparently UPS will not cover you if you shipped an item that got damaged for any reason even if you have paid the insurance... unless otherwise you shipped it to an ***OFFICIAL UPS STORE***, which there arent that many around except their main office or something... if you shipped it to shipping store that only promotes UPS, the insurance that u pay for isnt exactly going to cover your item... in this case a person who shipped an item thru a promoter isnt the actually the sender...(the promoter becomes the sender) so if you complain that ur goods got damage, ups will tell you that you are not covered because you are the the acutal sender and tell you to have a talk with the promoter... the promoter will then tell that it was not their fault because it was the owners responsibilty to packed their goods properly... giving you a pain in the ass who to blame in this situation... as we see in youtube how sometimes UPS deliver... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcIOy6XcM3s SO PLEASE BE CAREFULL...
