I have european Lancer and today measured front and rear discs. My Lancer is Intense trim, which is your GTS trim, but with 4B10 1.8L engine. I was thinking everything else is the same, BUT the brakes I think is different. Maybe because it has smaller engine. Mitsubishi put brakes from ES, not GTS. My fronts are 276 mm (10.9 inch) ventilated and 262 mm (10.3 inch) solid rear discs. This is equivalent to your ES right??? So, the question is, can I upgrade front brakes to stock GTS, which is 294 mm (11.6 inch)? What should I change? Obviously the discs, what about the calipers? Will the parts from GTS fit properly? There is splash shield on the inner side, should I change that too?...
if theres clearence from the top of the new bigger rotor to the inside of the caliper they should be fine but you gotta make sure the dont rub height wise hope this helps
