I'm looking into a better security system for my gts. I do not have nav so therefore i do not have the fast-key. Has anyone put in a two-way security/remote start for their car yet?

Most of the guys probably took it to the shop for this..

If your just looking for a good brand, a quick search on google should help you on on just the brand. I'm glad I live in a pretty decent neighborhood. :p

From that day on, everytime something of his broke and he'd be starring at it clueless i'd just walk past him and say, "who needs directions"

hahahaha dude that sucks....but in some cases even directions aren't gonna help you all that much...

a.) cars are an expensive investment to be just toying around with if you don't know what your doing.

b.) its not like baking a cake...directions aren't all you need lol

c.) you should probably have experience before attempting yourself

I bought the viper security/auto start for my car.

Best Buy installed it. It was 550 w/installation and some kind of relay.

You also lose one of your spare keys.

Probably one of the best things yet I have bought for my car. I <3 mile radius auto start!

autostarts are cool with cvt's but my cousin installed one on his manual mustang in a parking structure and it tooook off and crashed into a wall down the way.

haha never leve it in first gear when you auto start it ;p

    hahahahahahahahaha

i don't usually leave mine in gear but i know alot of my friends do. I mean of course i'm stretching the ebrake cable when i use it but that one of those things that can be tightened anyways...much more minor than a busted front end from an auto start
