Hi everyone, I have noticed some older Lancers have interesting sound when changing gears. Sounds like some air decompression or air going out of pipes very quickly. Do you know what causes this sound? And by the way, have some of you seen Fast and furious style fire spitting exhaust? As I understood it is possible to have such tuning also for less powerfull cars? Only not sure whether this is legal...
To my knowledge, its NOT legal. This was told to me by a cop. Now, where to get these, how to put them, and whether or not they can go on older lancers is beyond me bro. That shit is pretty dope tho lol
if you have the dvd of the first fast & the faurious go to the extra...they show how they installed a flame throwing exhaust on an evo 7...
As I understand BOV is baisically used for Turbo cars? Has someone used simulator/whistler of fake turbo BOV on non-turbo cars? Maybe share video or experience on this....
Hey dude even the new cars have some kind of air coming out. When i drive mine well actually when i race i can hear air escaping everytime i shift
its just probably the over rev when shifting, cuzz ive noticed itt a long time ago...i dont think its air at all...
idk what "over rev" is, but bov releases excess pressure between shifts to avoid compressor surge. Some n/a cars with efficient intakes occasionally get a little woosh sound with slamming through the gears.
