To Those With Lowering Springs...how does it ride?

    I've looked on this forum to see how springs ride but i couldn't find any. I don't think our car, 2008 Lancer, rides is too stiff but with springs would it be rougher or is there a way to lower the car and it still ride ok...

    Also, could you also let me know what springs you have...

    i have the RRM V2 springs they ride just like stock putting springs wont really soften the ride much

    i have teins

    its intensely siffer and lower

    i have more control on understeer its awsome

    quality springs=good buy

    quality coilovers=best buy

    coilovers should never be compared to regular springs, they are in a completely different league of modification. It's like comparing a SRI to a turbo kit.

    pretty much, but thats just the way things work. you get what you pay for. If you want bigger performance, you gotta pay bigger cost 8)

    I hear right now Tein springs are the best at the moment but for later it's coliovers no doubt.

    My question is will the tein's rub with any other tire seeing as everyone has the 215/40's

    probably not, the drop isn't extreme enough.

    Should be fine if your aftermarket wheels are close to stock offset.
