OK, so I have had my 08 GTS for less than 2 years and I am in need of new tires. (That seems kind of odd, I mean I only have 25K miles on the car and I need new tires already.!??!)I have rotated them 2x since new, but 2 Chicago winters just killed the Dunlops that came stock with the car...I'm not sure what to do. Do I buy Dunlops again or go with a different brand? I have heard good things about Pirelli. I think the P zero would be my choice. Any suggestions? Anybody else buy new tires for the GTS? What brand did you go with and why?
I went with the PZeros on my car. I can't really critique them so far seeing as how i've only had them on there for like 2 days but i like them so far. I went with them because, like you, i heard good things about them and they didnt cost much. I made a thread a few weeks ago about tires and a few recommended the PZeros. I wouldn't recommend going with the dunlops again, not the same ones at least, those are really crappy tires. You're not gonna get much miles out of a sports tire anyway, i only got 17k miles out of the dunlops :?
The Dunlops are horrible. Even the dealership knows it and only claims that you should get about 20,000 on them. Mine are quickly approaching that area (especially with the turbo). I have a friend that runs a Firestone dealership. Since I am moving to PA I asked him which tires would be best. He recommended UHP Falkens.
I went to a local tire shop yesterday looking for new tires and he recommended toyos proxes 4. however those are SPT tires and im looking for all season tires

I know they make them in 18-inch size. I would think they would have them in a 17-inch size. But you never know... Red Galant2k1; I will PM you now.
