SANDBLASTING EFFEECT / paint chips - Paint issue. UPDATE!

    FYI to anyone with the "sand blasting" effect on their side skirts and insane rockchips on the sides... i have just gotten the go ahead from mitsu to get it fixed at their expense.. i believe i am the first one so now is the time to fight it. they are admitting there is a problem with some!

    Could anyone explain in a greater detail what this is? If it has something to do with the paint, then I might be applicable.

    I would also like to know in more detail what this is, maybe post some pictures. I may have the problem too.

    Please post pics, I've been having issues with the paint for a while now, and the dealer keeps telling me there's nothing they can do because Mitsubishi Canada won't let them... All they'd offer is a free touch up paint pen.

    They have denied me several times, but today I noticed rust. With there warranty I should be able to get this painted

    I sent a letter to Mitsubishi and even got a response and went to the dealership. They told me the rock chips occurred because rocks hit it and it is a normal spot for rock chips, so they basically didn't do shit for me.

    My dealer is going to paint my car too. He said the warranty will cover it.
