hey guys having a little problem the website im going to be buying my rims from when they ship them they will already be balanced and everything taken care of so all i need to do is take them to a shop and put them on my car question is... Do we really need the tpms for our vehicles or can we remove?.. If we do put new wheels and tires without them what would happen?

You dont need them, but the annoying tire sensor code comes on, and you need to clear it by pushing the button for 2 seconds everytime something happens (door opens, trunk open, 'possible slippery roads' warning.
I've been running my winter wheels just having the annoying message everytime i start the car.

My local Mitsubishi dealership transferred my TPMS sensors and mounted and balanced the tires on my new wheels for $75.00. Woth it, IMHO.
