Rims and coils

    Hello Tuners,

    Fierst post ever, new to the forum deal, anywho...

    I want to get the rota P-45R but i dont think they make them ant smaller than a 17x9 with a +30 offset, i have been doing a stupid amount of research i went threw the whole 8 pages and got different answers, some said 8.5 with a 38 offset was the biggest, then i saw someone had a 18x9.5 then another cat with 18x9

    im so confused, i suck at this offset thing

    now i am going to lower it tremendously, i want the back tires with no gap and the front the same, with a nice camber, i bought the D2 36 way adjustable coilovers but have yet to put them on due to weather, its taken me 2 and a half years to start modding, lol, and ive never touched a forum in my life...

    if you fellow tuners could help me out id really be appreciative!

    wheels im looking at are

    rota d2
    rota p-45r
    rota grid

    i have a tarmac black lancer es, and i wanted to go with some noce gold or bronze wheels

    The d2 coils are made for the EVO. They most likely will not fit your lancer...

    offset wise, just give the rears a roll and you should be fine.

    hmmmmm, well i guess we can use evo coils, i put them on saturday, handles like a dream, ive just gotta mess with the dampening, rides like a marbel on concrete, really bouncy

    I didn't realize that D2 made coilovers for the Lancer. Part number?

    Do you have any pics?

    Ya pics please? I have 18x9 +35 and they stick out just a bit, but you can adjust them so you dont rub with the camber

    sweet, sounds like i found my wheels lol!! yeah ill have to get the part number off the box, i found them on ebay, $928 and some change free shipping

    how do u post pictures? :oops:

    im gonna have to get the camber bolts for the rear then

    these are the only pics i have now, i havent had a chance to snap any during the day, that was right after i finished, im gonna adjust them today but try to keep the same ride height, sry for the low quality these are straight off my blackberry

    will do tonight maybe if i have time after work, should be able to, i think im gonna mess with the ride height and stuff tonight, will deff get pictures on here asap though

    i called the supplier, they said that the coils i bought were indeed for the lancer and not the evo, but it wasntt d2 it was whoever had them posted on ebay so

    yeah, im extremely happy with them, first set ever though, so i have to play with them and figure them out, i think i have to much comperession on the stut itself at sitting height, so ill adjust and try to keep the same ride height, itll be awesume once i get it setup coreectly

    yeah it doesnt do it justice either at that angle or the light, i gotta get better pics of it, i gotta raise the front a tad and adjust the rebound and whatnot

    thanks man, i hope im holdin it down for Louisiana for the '08

    yeah i planned on it, or getting some kind of lip kit and sideskirts, but its so low i scrape EVERYTHING already lol, it breaks my heart a lil more everytime, lol
