RA Spotted

    Images of Mitsubishi's Lancer Ralliart have surfaced online ahead of the car's official unveiling. Believed to be taken by a Mitsubishi employee, the poster also indicated that the car was on its way to an auto show  meaning that the Lancer Ralliart will likely bow next week at the Detroit Auto Show.

    Visually, the Ralli Art model features a chrome-rimmed front grille and Ralliart badging. The model pictured also appears to have the same HID headlamps as the Lancer Evo X.
    The poster also revealed some details about the Ralliart, although none official. According to him, the Lancer Ralliart will have between 230 and 240 horsepower  mated to either a five-speed manual or Mitsubishi's new Twin Clutch SST  and will send its power to all four wheels. Rounding out the Ralliart package will be Recaro front seats, Lancer GTS wheels and a GTS rear wing.
    If the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart makes an appearance at the Detroit show, check back for all the details next week.

    If it is true that the car will have 4WD and Recaro seats, I will be 100% trading in my GTS for one. The only thing that had held me back was hearing multiple reports that it wouldnt be 4WD.

    This thing will be a good reason to stay with Mitsu! 8O

    Awsome!!! depending on price and insurance costs, I may have to trade up, for the Ralliart, IF its AWD :)

    Real nice... But, I bet the dealers will slam you if you try to trade up, lol

    I wonder what the price is going to be....Basically this is to compete with the Subuaru WRX..

    Subuaru WRX 4-door, 224hp

    Base Price (minus taxes and dealer fees) $24,350
    Premium Pakage , add $2,100
    Satilite Radio and navigation package (includes Premium Package), add $4,100

    So a fully loaded WRX is about $28,450 before taxes + dealer fees.

    So in order for the RA to compete, I would imagine it would be within that price range... $24,000 - $29,000.

    Looks like it has blackend GTS rims too, but no front bumper skirts or whatever their called.

    I keep hearing itll come out a few months after the Evo. They dont want to release them at the same time and have everyone buy a ralliart instead of an evo
