Ok so I've finally figure out that one of my rims is bent... I've done everything I could to fix this on going vibration problem and nothing.. I put the stock wheels back on and the vibration is gone... But all of the shops I took my rims to said that there is nothing wrong with my aftermarket rims.... Is there any other methods to tell if a rim is mishaped or warped other then putting it ont he machine and watch it spin? Cuz I don't want to just throw these rims away... but find the one that is warped and replace it... Thanks

Try the good'ol process of elimination.

Take one stock rim off at a time and replace it with one of the new rims. Take it for a quick Test Drive. Keep doing this 'til the vibration comes back.

Chances are, it will be the rim you put on last. Take that rim back to the shop you purchased it from and tell them you'd like to replace itdue to the fact that it's defective. If they argue with you. Tell them you'd like to return all 4 then for a full refund.

Take it to a High end dealership (Audi,BMW, etc) they all have a machine that spins the wheel and a laser measures the rim size to a micro inch. My dad got new rims for his Audi and two where bent so he took it to the dealer and they did this test. They also will provide you with documentation so you can prove to the shop you bought the rims from that they are bent. It will cost you to do this test but you save it when you go back and want new rims.

FYI : If your rim is bent or warp by a fraction of an inch it creates a pressure on the wheel far greater then it can handle, which explains the vibration. In my case the norm was 20-30 PSI and with the bent rim it was 75-80 PSI

    hope it helps

Ok lets say I do try it this way. Would it matter that my tire sizes are different? The stock are 215/45/18, the tires I have one my rims are 225/40/18.

that wont cause the vibration, my brother had 3 different tire sizes on his vehicle until he got them changed and there was no vibration.
