hey guys... i know its a pain in the @&& for most of us that our car pulls to one side... heres a possible reason why... according to the new alignment that i got from my car the caster of the front tires are slightly uneven...compared to the previous 2 alignment that i have gotten the same result...the left caster is slightly uneven with the right caster, which is PROBABLY why the car wanders to the left...unfortunately in the 08 lancer it cannot be adjusted... FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG...PLEASE NO BASHING...IT WAS JUST AN EXPLANATION GIVEN TO ME... thank you
Dont forget roads are sloped to shed water to prevent water build up and plus and extra 100 - 200 lbs in the driver seat it all adds up at high speeds.
hahaha lose weight is possible... straight road.... hmmmmm harder for me hahaha but now that i think about it.. when i am on straight road it doesnt pull to the left...
Sit in the middle with your knob between your legs (gear knob ) and drive right down the centre of the road and make the other guys move out your way. (they will right? ) Most cars will pull to the left under these conditions so dont feel that your alignment is always out.
+1/\the water has to tread torwards the sides of the road(right)which will make you hold the wheel more left then right.if the water treaded left then roads all over the place would be flooded.
mine started pulling left today! 1st time i noticed it and it is BAD only 8k. No car ive ever had has pulled this badly!(and ive had some buckets!) ever.....anyone see the dealer and get this fixed??? if i take it to 3 times with no true fix i can lemon law the sucker huh??? im trading for ralliart soon so its not too important, but i dont want the Ralliart to do it too!
i think a lot have tried the dealer but no luck...what dealer do is change the tire pressure to compensate the pulling case
