People Steeling catalyst coverters

    i dont know if i spelled it right, but i just saw on the news on fox 11 that people are steeling a lot of them catalyst converters or them mini mufflers on your exhaust . freaking stupid people!

    YUP for emissions and stuff bcuz a lot of people do not have their og emissions and things like that.

    For whatever reason its been real common in Chicago. A city and state without emissions testing.

    this happened to my cousin with a 4runner, who lives there. Evidently they sell it because they can get some real cash for it.

    they steal it because of the special metal inside the thing. and they say you just head it and melt it and sell it

    Yes, lots of (if not all) catalytic converters have platinum inside.
