It's been awhile since I've been here, but I found on new info on the RA. Looks like a 5 speed is gonna be available. :woot: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/09/2009 ... rking-lot/
:munky2: suck!!!! oh well...it is nice to know that a M/T will be optional, cause i want my first car to be M/T and i hope its the RA
thats old, thats all guesses also, the real numbers have already been released and most likely only sst
^+1 That article was from before the auto show where they finally reveiled it. Mitsubishi North America and Japan have already stated on several occassions as well as via press release that the 2009 is only going to come with the SST. They then went on to say that a manual may or may not be added to the mix in a later model year as a "refresher option". They are doing this because they know that those who are performance enthusiasts want a stick, so by marketing the vehicle this way, they are hoping to get the people to move up to the base Evo GSR and spend the extra 5 to 7 thousand dollars to do so. Personally, I wish they would have done a 6 speed for the Evo and a 5 speed for the RA, but what do I know... Bill
no biggie... i want the SST anyway, i love manual and all but im getting sick of how much work it is when you get stuck in heavy traffic. The SST will be much smoother for passangers too so they'll appreciate it.
