are u sure +30 offset would work? that seem kinda small for lancer our stock offset is +46 =S and maybe go with 8.5" or even 8" i wouldnt be sure if 9" would fit u might have to roll fenders with this setting..

I'm going with either 8 or 8.5. Going to go to a shop before I order these anyways. And offset will be +38 and if 9 does fit then I'm going with those. Thanks for your suggestions.

but if u go too wide rims you'll need bigger tires or else it would look stretched out... personnally id rather get smaller rims and have bigger tires than bigger rims with smaller tires i think it'll look nicer and u can play with offset to get an agressive setting for ur wheels too!

Kenny, would you do if you were in my shoes. Would you do more offset or less offset and/or 8' or 8.5' or totally different?

Because I'd like to stick with 18's since 17's would look to small wouldn't you think so?

personnally i wanted to get 235/40r/18 with 18x8 +35 offset cuz im planning on lowering i dun know if u would lower and i also want an agressive setting for my wheels i wouldnt go too crazy with offset if u want big tires cuz there would definitly have rubbing unless u want to roll ur fenders and yah i would stick with 18s! 17s too small!!

ohh my bad i just re-read your first post, the offset on iw +38.. im pretty sure those would fit with 225 tires no problem and you could go with 18x8.5 also!! my bad!!

And yes I am planning on lowering car with Eibach Sportline Kit. 1.7" front and 1.2" rear.

So, I'll go with the wheels I said and tires , 225/40r18 then.

18x8 with a +40mm fits great. You could most likely do 18x9" with a +35mm offset without too much issue. I'd just have to check the with my co-worker for the room underneath and behind the wheel between the strut tower and control arm in the rear.

If you can red that would be great, thanks. I just might do 19 then.
