hiya people...I know Im supposed to put my canards in today, but I got sidetracted again and installed my backup cam instead...I didnt actually got the cam on, but i did got the 3.5' lcd on cuz it has a a/v jack on it and you can watch movie on it if you hook it on to an ipod and I can a need it when Im working on some traffic surveys... heres some pix..enjoy whats good about it is that i can swivel it up, down, side-side & diagonally and yes I dont wanna spend like $3K on some dvd video kit for this car...i got this kit for $50...
$50? really? where did you find this at? seems like a nice thing to add to my To-Do list... your wire feed into the dash looks nice Would the screen fit into that little holder by the cig lighter?
a. I got at some tax-free bargain store up in vacaville, ca...i dont know the actual price for it, im guessing $150 cuz a 1.5' lcd backup cam is already around $80 at wal-mart. b. ftw it took me a week to figure out how to remove that plastic on the dash board, couldnt find a "how to" on it c. it may fit, but thats too far to look down when your driving and i dont suggest putting it in places where you have look away for more a second...
^ ah ha...good point. type up a how-to with pics and post it. I know a few ppl have wrote up how-tos. i did one on installing the rear speakers. as soon as i can find a wiring diagram and get my cold cathodes i'm gna write one up on that install too.
