might be a dumb question... but.....

    i was looking at the TURBO kit on RRM for 2006 lancer ES...

    ..now i'm not very mechanically inclined as sum might be, so i just had to ask this question... if i were to purchase the turbo kit (link shown above), and install it on my 06 lancer ES, will the stock engine & tranny hold up to the extra HP given from the turbo kit? hope i dont sound like a dumb a$$, but i dont want to ruin my car....

    There are a some guys I know that have the kit and they like it. Once it is properly installed, later on down the road, they invested into more internal parts and alot of tuning, and they really like it.

    so if i'm understanding u correctly, the car as is (factory) can hold up to the power that the turbo kit provides as of now... i know other internal mods will be done, but the car can withstand it...? :p

    /\ it was factory when they installed but the eventually got more and more into performance parts. It was about 5-6 psi, then brought it towards 11-13.

    well besides sum cosmetic mods that i want to add to my car.... i think i just found my next extreme mod goal.... ::: drum roll ::: ... the turbo kit !! lol

    once again, bras_33, u've been very imformative, i wonder if there is a "moderater of the month" i'll vote for u... lol
