Hey poeple im new to this forum, i have a australian spec VRX which is your GTS version, here it is. Im getting some new rims which are lenzo 20x8.5", has anyone got 20's on there GTS yet????
omg i wana live were you live....jelous.....i was warned by my mech not to put 20s becouse of buring unless you have 1 inch rubber but he was wary even then...if it works plz post pics...id love to have 20s
The tyres will be a 30 or 35 profile and i want to lower a little aswell. This is what i hope it will look like
LancerGTS (pedro) tried it already not worth it IMO... it rubbed like crazy with STOCK suspension, and you dont wanna get me started on the performance side of it... the biggest i would go with a lancer is 19s and thats still pushing it... i think 18s and a good suspension setup (there is none out there yet.. im talking about some good coilovers and struts whenever they come out with good ones) is the best way to go... heres a pic of him with 20s.. he needed a spring spacer in the back because of the rubbing... just wait till a good suspension setup comes out and get some nice 18s and you will be looking way better than with huge rims, and you arent gonna make the performance worst than what it is already... my $0.02
idk if ud even really be able to lower it, i guess if u really wanted to u could cut into the wheel well and roll ure fenders
I am just going to lower the car about 3" and get a nice set of 18" rims. This is the car lowered And also with the Carbon front lip
yea calgary has horible roads for lowered cars...its not the roads its the driveways and like entrances to all the parking lots...id never be able to park with in like 30 blocks of my office lol
I have decided that I am just going to lower the car atm. I want to lower it by 3" has anyone done this yet???
