Does anyone know anything about the Kenwood DNX5120?
It says "built-in Garmin navigation technology" which I think means I wouldn't need a DVD/CD but I'm not certain.
I'm looking to find a Navigation/Stereo system that's touch screen, non-CD/DVD navigation and Ipod friendly(AUX or USB), a detachable face would be nice but not a must. All that and keep it under $1,000. If anyone happens to have any other ideas, so far the DNX5120 was the best I could find for the price range.

    Thanks :)

I'm not really a Kenwood fan. Look into the Pioneer AVICD3 or the JVC KW-NX7000. If you need any other suggestions, let me know. I have a long list.....

I like the Pioneer AVIC-D3 the only thing that I'm curious/worried about is the DVD Navigation is there any slow down since its not reading off a hard drive? Also does it skip/lag over like bumpy roads (biggest reason i hate DVD/CDs in cars )

I can't find much information on the JVC KW-NX7000, I found a few UK sites but they have very little information on it. It seems like its a UK only unit.

Thanks again for the input :)

Oh I have another question that I might or might not need help with I haven't decided on how brave I might or might not be. But what would i need to replace the stock radio? I know there's a topic about a metra kit which I'm assuming I'd need but anything else I'd have no idea.

    Thanks ahead of time :)
