goin to pick up an k&n sri today...i kno its suppose to b a real simple instal..take everythin off n jus put the new one on and disconnect the batter b4 and let run 15min after install...nebody have any tips for instal??
I bought the KN for my 04 (it was for an 03)...and it was simple. Remove factory airbox ( 3 bolts, i think), oem piping, and vacuum line. Put on the MAF adapter, piping, filter, and vacuum line. Let it run for a bit...and youre good to go.
Just make sure not to snap the head off the bolt for the support arm. Yes, I did that. Pretty much that's(^) about it.
