iPod hook up Q

    I have an ES and I wondering if I should get that ipod hook up thing or use the FM transmitter that you can buy extra for the ipod. Not sure which to do. Also, can I even install the aux cable for ipod to my car? I didn't see it on the other forums

    I have dropped some cash for the so called fm-transmitters and IMO its garbage, for the same amount of money I should have gotten the oem from mitsu, the first time.

    definitely get the OEM cable.

    WAY better than an FM transmitter. I have my cable installed and it works great.

    Same here, get the aux cable because i have and fm transmitter and it suks. :evil: . It gets all statiky.

    Yeah I agree. Get the OEM aux cable. I had bad experience with my old car using the transmitter (no cd player in car).

    After a couple of months, the reception was terrible on the radio.

    My friend experienced the same thing, but with after-market sound systems. He didn't like burning cds so he used his ipod, and after a couple of months later, he had problems with the subs.
