anybody know if a header will bolt right on to the stock exhaust (without fabrication)? Would there be any change in performance or should I just wait till I can do the whole thing?
Most aftermarket headers are made to bolt up to stock midpipes, just as cat-back and axle-back systems are made to bolt up to the existing piping. Normally if you change the entire exhaust by replacing individual bolt-on pieces, the flange locations and section lengths stay the same. Most often, the only part of the exhaust you have to double check the flange on is a high flow cat. Cats come with so many different flanges, that it is best to see the actual mount type it is.
