I want to do a smaller rim/better tire for winter. However, I contacted a dealer near me and they said that they don't believe 16's will fit due to the larger rotor size then the ES. Can anyone confirm this?
i think ur dealer should close down for being so misinformed.. lol 16 is the lowest u can go with gts
Have you've done it that your so sure? I don't want to waste my money to get them and find out they don't fit.
i havent done it but its all over the forums that 16 is lowest u can go due to the rotor size, i cant pinpoint where exactly but if u look around you'll stumble on it for sure!
well sorry to disappoint you guys and gals but 16's wont fit the GTS...at least not the 2009 one...i tried but the break caliper is in the way...17 is the smallest i can go, then again i dont know about the ES or the 08 GTS
I have a 09 GTS and my winters are on 16'' steeles and the caliper clears with a good inch..... no problems here..
i have 16s on my gts for some reason my car wont stay in line and tires for my 18 kept wearing wrong and they were to expensive so I bouthgt 16s, 60 a tire instead of 170
