i have a 2002 lancer o.z. rally edition, and i have looked evvverywere for a grille that is not stock. I'm not looking for kits that fit on the grille, i really want a whole, new grille in chrome or some othere form of shine. Any help would be awesome! (p.s. ive already looked on ebay... nada) Thanks!
my car is dark grey, so the grill is barely noticeable, and i want something thats gunna pop with the paint. aka... chrome haha
A 2002 lancer O.Z. rally edition. im getting a new front bumber this week because of a sad ice accident, sooo a new grille seemed like a good idea haha And the stock ones have chrome around the outside. but the horizontal slats are a black plastic. not even metal. my old one had cracks all over it
just take some sand paper and give it a light scuff job but still smoth and paint or plasti dip it i painted mine a two tone scheme jsut for the hell of it but it looked good just didnt end up keepin it for l9ong till i changed it again or you can just remove the whole thing and put some mesh in
There are billet chrome insert pieces I saw somewhere. If you want the chrome part to pop, paint the inserts the same color as your car (aka dark) and leave the chrome. Other than the RRM Evo style grill, there aren't any real options aside from ugly paint schemes on a stock piece haha.
