I spoke with Greddy today and next week my car is going to become their prototype tester for the 08 Lancer Ti-C exhaust As the process unfolds I will keep you guys updated on when they will be available and how awesome the exhaust (hopefully) will be. I can already feel more HP on my car! <-- that was sarcasm Edit: Spoke again. Next week I will be dropping the car off Tuesday night and they say they only need a day with it, so I'll get it back Wednesday evening. So Tuesday I will have some pics, Wednesday I should have better ones and information about when it will be available.
Yeah I talked to them about a week ago and they were looking for a protype car. I guess they found you. = P That's great news! Hopefully they don't butcher up your car to much.
ask them about a group buy, cuz i smell one coming.... hey when you gonna go there, and when they actually have the exhaust on ur lancer, take lots of pics, and may be a video.
This is actually the third chance I'm getting with being the test mule. The first was the pully with RRM, which I passed on. Second was Progress for their rear sway bar...which I wanted to do but they needed my car during a week I couldnt provide it, so they found someone else....oh well. But now this Greddy one is gonna go through which is awesome, and what better company to trust my car with
Yeah for sure. I will take pics every time I am there  Maybe I'll be lucky and they will have my car on the website showing the exhaust 8O
Do you know if you get any discount on the exhaust for being the protype? I wish I was down in So-cal with all the performance shops..
Damn, I spoke with Greddy in April and they told me nothing was going to happen for our 08s. AEM gave me a call and they are using my car as a guinea pig as well. As of right now, they fabricated headers for my car and is going thru some tests!!!!!!
From what I've see on forums a few people have called Greddy asking about exhausts. Maybe they decided there was some demand and changed their mind. So how long has AEM had your car? Are you getting the parts the design? Nice to see AEM, Greddy and others are getting our cars in.
a total of about a month. First time it was about 3 weeks and now just a day so far.[/quote:2bgy43f7] Wow I hope they are making it well worth your time to have your car so long 8O
^I hope so as well, they gave me a rental so it wasnt that bad. I taught myself how to drift in the new altima with there version of the cvt
wow man. congrats on being their test mule. i cant wait for the Ti-C to come out for our lancers. it sounds soooo goood!
me neither, i cant wait... actually guys i have to say the RRM exhaust doesnt seem that bad at all... it feels better in the cvt mode also, only time will tell when they will come out with a catback...
Congrats on the prototype Subawho, I called them back in June about it, but I live in Orlando... oh well. Enjoy the sounds!
Hey guys, sorry it took me a while...I was out of town doing some consulting work and I got back the other day. Here is an update: Greddy took my car for one day to get everything they needed for the exhaust. What they do is send all that info to Greddy Japan and the exhausts are built there. He said it would be a few months...so I am guessing late August to November is when they would possibly come out. Nothing work taking pics of as of now. The place isnt very special, its in the same business park as my work, I can walk there in 2 minutes. The white Greddy Evo from the website is at the shop though, looks even better in person. The best part is: I get credit towards anything Greddy for doing this. So, I might not get the exhaust in the end, I might be using the credit for the Greddy rims: http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerofile/440 ... y_full.jpg The gold ones on the top pic. *drool* Anyways, I am staying in touch with them, and since I am buying an Evo when they arrive, I am discussing with him being the prototype car for all of those parts....hopefully, but that is way too far from now to know. Anyways, I will post here when he lets me know pricing and when they will be available.
