Ok so im driving on the highway and all of a sudden someone crashes 2 cars in front of me. Out of impulse I shift from 3rd gear back to nuetral. While doing this I didn't hit the clutch pedal and pulled out of gear into nuetral with some but very minimal resistance. Is this an issue? Shouldn't the gears have grinded just a bit or is this just lucky timing on my part?

nah. if there isn't a load on the trans, you can pull out of any gear. It's not that great on the synchros, but if you rev-match...you can basically drive through the gears without using the clutch.

That's what I thought. But when I first got the car, sure didnt know how to drive a manual then, It would grind. And as of recent I guess I'm shifting way too fast it will grind between 1st to 2nd. Now I know that is normal. Just didn't know for sure if the 1st to nuetral was normal without gas/pressure being applied. Thank you sir. My vast knowledge has increased.

Well, any grinding between gear changes can be due to worn synchros. My suggestion would be to swap trans fluids to a performance fluid. I swapped to BG Synchroshift, and it made a HUGE difference in the feel of the tranny. I'll post a how-to on the trans fluid change...really simple...
