    Unfortunately so true, near my work its already $5.29!

    by year 2010 it will be 7.00 a gal or more ( local news) you know its still cheaper than where my brother lives which is 8.00 a gal and over 4.00 a liter

    The main problem is everyone saying "Gas will be X amount in a year" and it always is. Damn that speculation BS. I say gas will be $2 per gallon in 2010.

    It's kinda of ironic that the center most state of Kansas has the cheapest prices according to that map and yet the fuel has to be transported the farthest to reach those areas from the oceans and waterways. Go figure right?

    only thing i know is that this country needs to be an independent,not a dependent on other countries.for ex.-Brazil makes it own fuel out of sugar cane,fields and fields of it.so if the middle east ran out of oil,brazil would still be fine since its has it own natural fuel.
